So proud that our headteacher, Mrs Littlejohns, is a finalist in Headteacher of the Year category of The Scottish Education Awards 2018

We are delighted that Allison Littlejohns is a finalist in this years Scottish Education Awards in the category for Headteacher of the Year. The Scottish Education Awards celebrate the hard work and success which takes place in Scottish education and at Banchory Primary, it is clear to us all that Allison and has worked very hard, along with all staff across the school to make Banchory the school it is today.

The Scottish Education Awards were first launched in November 2001 by the Scottish Government and the Scottish Daily Record, with the specific aims of celebrating the successes and recognising the achievements taking place within Scottish education.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony set to take place at the Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central on Wednesday 6th June. Over 550 people attend the event, made up of finalists, sponsors, VIPs and ministers.

Entry to the Awards is open to all publicly funded schools, including secondary, primary, ELCs and special schools. There is a wide variety of categories that recognise the dedication and commitment of establishments, practitioners and education supporters.
